American Express Business Travel is seeking to make corporate travel planning and cost saving a little easier. The business travel management company today announced the launch of eXpert insights, a new subscription-based research practice that will provide corporations with exclusive T&E data and program planning advice.<br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> Members will be able to access a comprehensive $100 billion-plus T&E spending database and a collection of best practice publications from noted industry consultants. Additional benefits include a monthly newsletter, the Business Travel Monitor pricing benchmark report, an annual industry business travel forecast, and "eXpert on demand" client-to-consultant service.<br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> eXpert insights' inaugural report, "Creative Cost Savings in Air" is also available to subscribers. The Best Practices Roadmap shares insight into savings available by using flight alternative strategies; non-restricted tickets; and knowledge of daily rate differentials.<br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> Christa Degnan Manning, formerly a research analyst and research director for Aberdeen Group and AMR Research, has been chosen to head the practice.
