NY-based Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc, an executive search and leadership consulting firm, announced today a change in the leadership of its Marketing and Sales Officers Practice. <br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> Jane Stevenson, formerly the global head of the Marketing and Sales Officers Practice, is moving into a broader, strategic role with the firm. In her new position, she will have increased involvement in the CEO and board practices, as well as in strategic client development.<br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> John Abele, whose search consulting expertise spans marketing and sales, as well as industrial and business and professional services sectors, will takes Stevenson’s place as the global head of the marketing and Sales Officers Practice. <br clear="none" /> <br clear="none" /> Abele will be leading the practice in partnership with a team of regional established leaders. He will partner with Carlos Cata, who was recently appointed managing partner for the North American Marketing Officers Practice. Cata has 15 years of experience with some of the premier brands and packaged goods companies in the world. While bringing special expertise in the food and beverage sectors, Cata has also has worked with companies in the retail, entertainment and financial services sectors. His work has also helped to drive opportunity in the multi-cultural marketing area, with specific focus on the large and growing Hispanic market.
