Research In Motion (RIM) has debuted BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac users. The new software enables BlackBerry owners to sync data from Mac applications, add and remove apps, schedule automatic backups, encrypt backup files, and install software updates. BlackBerry Desktop Manager software is designed for Mac computers with Mac OS 10.5.5 and higher, and supports BlackBerry smartphones with OS 4.2 and up.
