BMO Launches 2D Barcode Ads

BMO Capital Markets has introduced two-dimensional barcode technology in select versions of its weekly advertisements. Utilizing a free downloadable application, Wall Street Journal readers can photograph an ad’s barcode (known as EZcodes) with their mobile phone or PDA camera, then be taken automatically to a customized page on the BMO Capital Markets website.
