Practice Fusion, a provider of Web-based physician practice applications, has announced an investment from salesforce.com. Practice Fusion is expected to launch its patient health record on Force.com, salesforce.com’s enterprise cloud computing platform, in late 2009. In addition to electronic medical records, Practice Fusion provides practice management, patient scheduling, and other services through a cloud computing model.
