IMA Targets Promo Products Distributors

The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) is set to launch a new strategic industry group (SIG) for promotional products distributors at next month’s Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) annual event, PPAI Expo.

Details about the new SIG, such as members of the steering committee and official name, are still under wraps but will likely be unveiled at an informational luncheon IMA is hosting on Jan. 14, 2010, during the conference.

“The luncheon for promotional products consultants will showcase IMA’s resources for consultants who are selling incentives and to introduce plans to develop a Promotional Product Consultant Strategic Industry Group within IMA,” says Karen Renk, executive director of the Naperville, Ill.–based organization. “Any promotional products consultants interested in learning about selling incentive programs to clients and in accessing incentive partners in the marketplace are invited to join.”

PPAI Expo 2010 is taking place Jan. 11 to 15 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
