Censeo Corporation, a provider of innovative employee assessment technologies, announced today that the criterion-related validation study of its TalentSIM Leadership Assessmen, a management simulation tool, showed a strong relationship between assessment scores and leadership performance. The study, conducted over a six-month period, involved a large sample of leaders from seven major organizations across a variety of industries.
Commenting on the results of the validation study, Dr. Ronald Gross, CEO of Censeo Corporation, states “The correlation coefficient between TalentSIM’s total assessment score and overall job performance was .35—a correlation that establishes TalentSIM as one of the most predictive managerial skills assessments available in the market. Furthermore, the research not only showed we could predict overall leadership performance, but also the seven competencies the leadership assessment measures.”
TalentSIM is an online assessment, based on job simulation technology, designed to measure leadership skills. In the program, participants take on the role of five managers in five different companies, and are confronted with a variety of realistic and challenging situations—problems to solve, decisions to be made, goals to be set, etc. At various points participants are prompted as to how they would respond to those situations. TalentSIM is a 100 percent online solution, with immediate scoring and reporting after the leadership assessment is completed.
