Deborah Fine has been named president and CEO of Direct Brands, direct marketer of books, DVDs, and recorded music in the U.S. and Canada. Fine joins the company after serving as president of iVillage Properties.

NetMotion Names Two New VPs
NetMotion Wireless, a mobile productivity and management software provider, has promoted two company veterans. Matthew Scott has been named vice president of technical sales and support, while Rob Mattson was appointed vice president of business development.

Zeltiq Aesthetics Appoints CEO
Medical device company Zeltiq Aesthetics has appointed Gordie Nye chief executive officer. Nye previously served as a general partner for Prism VentureWorks’ life sciences investment team.

AOL Names Seth SVP
AOL has named Shashi Seth senior vice president of global advertising products. Seth previously served as chief revenue officer for Cooliris, in addition to stints at Google and eBay.

Xiotech Names Atkinson President, CEO
Xiotech Corporation, a provider of data storage solutions, has named Alan Atkinson president and chief executive officer. Atkinson comes to Xiotech from EMC, where he was vice president of the Storage Software Group.

Dulaney Named Siemens Industry CEO
Daryl D. Dulaney has been named president and CEO of Siemens Industry, the newly formed U.S. affiliate of Siemens’ global industry sector business. A 30-year Siemens veteran, he has held several senior managerial roles within the company.

Flagstar Bancorp Appoints CEO
Flagstar Bancorp, the holding company of Flagstar Bank, has named Joseph P. Campanelli president and CEO. Campanelli, who will also join the company’s board of directors, is the former president and CEO of Sovereign Bancorp.

Silver Spring Networks Names EVP
Silver Spring Networks, a Smart Grid solutions provider, has appointed Gary Gysin executive vice president of worldwide sales. Most recently, Gysin was an entrepreneur-in-residence at US Venture Partners.

ScaleMP, a provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, has hired Benjamin Baer as vice president of marketing. Most recently, Baer was an independent marketing consultant for a number of cloud computing vendors.

HighJump Names VP of Sales
HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, has appointed Jim Bork vice president of sales. Bork comes to HighJump from Epicor Software, where he served in a number of executive roles.
